After the summer we’ve had, with firefighters across the UK dealing with wildfire after wildfire, the demands on our fire and rescue services have been enormous. These men and women don’t just turn up when the siren sounds. There’s preparation, maintenance, training, teamwork and countless hours behind the scenes that most of us never see. So, wherever you are in the UK, take a minute today to say thank you to our firefighters.

Thank you for protecting our communities. And thank you for everything you do before, during and after the shout.

Honestly, what a moment.

Today, Wrexham’s bid for UK City of Culture 2029 went in. I’ve had the privilege of being part of the marketing story behind it, and watching it come together has been one of the best things I’ve worked on.

This bid was never going to be just paperwork. It’s built from years of people showing up for this town: the artists, the community groups, the volunteers, the small businesses, all of it. Every conversation, every idea, every late night pulling it together, it all led to this.

Wrexham already has something special. This bid is proof of it, and a chance to show the rest of the UK what we’ve known all along.

The bid is in. Now we wait, and hope, and see where play takes us 🤞.

Honestly, what a moment.

Today, Wrexham's bid for UK City of Culture 2029 went in. I've had the privilege of being part of the marketing story behind it, and watching it come together has been one of the best things I've worked on.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about working with organisations that genuinely champion local businesses.

I’m delighted to have partnered with This Is Wrecsam for a second project, this time creating content for Caffi Wylfa, a brilliant example of how independent businesses and local producers are helping shape Wrecsam’s identity.

As we continue our journey towards City of Culture 2029, it’s more important than ever that we celebrate the people, places and businesses that make our city unique.

There are some places you return to and instantly feel at home.

It was great to be back at Wrexham Fire Station last night, spending time with the crews, taking some professional photos, and having a catch-up that was long overdue.

Over time, visits like these have become about much more than just the photography. Of course, I’m always proud to create images that reflect the dedication, teamwork, and professionalism of the crews, but just as importantly, it’s about seeing good friends and being part of the wider fire family.

That sense of connection is what makes each visit so special. The fire service has a way of bringing people together, and it’s always a privilege to spend time with familiar faces who have become friends and family along the way.

Thank you all for the warm welcome, the laughs, and for once again trusting me to capture a small part of your story through my camera. Until next time.

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing the official opening of Stori Brymbo.
It was brilliant to see such an important part of Brymbo’s history preserved and presented in a way that everyone can enjoy. From the speeches and celebrations to the smaller candid moments throughout the day, it was a privilege to document such a significant occasion.
Congratulations to everyone who played a part in making this happen it’s a fantastic addition to the local community and well worth a visit.

After what felt like 47 rounds of moving things one pixel to the left... then back again... AC Creative has officially been refreshed.
I've given the brand a cleaner, sleeker, more modern look that feels much more like where AC Creative is today.

No corporate "we're entering an exciting new chapter" speech here. Just a brand that finally matches the way I like to work: creative, considered, and without unnecessary fluff.
The logo's had a glow-up, the visuals are sharper,

and yes... I've already spotted three tiny things I'll probably tweak next week. Occupational hazard lol.

And the website? That was built by my recommended partner, Populi Media, who absolutely nailed bringing the new look to life.
Here's to fresh ideas, great clients, and creating content that actually gets people to stop scrolling.
