Paul & Zeta – Whinstone View ❤️

I had an absolute belter of a time shooting this wedding.

The brief was simple.... keep it chilled, mostly candid, let the day flow and throw in a handful of family photos without loads of lists, formality and without taking the bride and groom away from their family and friends.

Basically, right up my street. 😂

And it worked perfectly. A HUGE party, loads of guests, quality entertainment all day and night from the Last Anthem boys, and a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish.

Whinstone View once again proving what a cracking wedding venue it is.

I'm not entirely sure what's happened this week… but I'm definitely not complaining!

I haven't changed anything, done any special marketing or been to any wedding fairs, yet I've picked up 4 new wedding bookings in the last few days.

It got me thinking about the wedding business and how it really does seem to have its peaks and troughs.

The last couple of years have most definitely been quieter. I put a lot of that down to the market becoming pretty saturated, people having less money and the wedding business being down across the board. So rather than chasing bookings, I put more of my energy into other areas of business while continuing to shoot weddings as they came along.

Whatever it is, it's bloody lovely to see and it's a nice reminder that these things go in cycles. The wedding business was booming pre covid and in my opinion it's never recovered fully. Maybe we're just seeing things pick up again. I certainly hope so.

I've never stopped shooting weddings and I've never stopped loving them. So to have four new ones land in a few days is a pretty good feeling. Thanks to everyone who has booked or recommended me, it really does mean a lot! ❤️📸

Ashleigh & David at The Hidden Oak. ❤️

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen a couple enjoy their wedding day more than these two. They were flying on cloud nine from start to finish.

What a day it was too… fireworks, alpacas, dogs, golf, live music, and most importantly, a dancefloor full of friends and family having an absolute ball well into the night.

Laura and Dan collected their wedding album today. ❤️

So many couples choose to just have the digital files these days, planning to make something themselves later. And, of course, that’s absolutely fine.

But there’s something really special about holding your wedding album in your hands. A beautifully made album is something your children, grandchildren and future generations can sit down and look through one day.

In a world where thousands of photos live on phones and hard drives, there’s something magical about a wedding album. I genuinely think it’s one of the best things you can have after your wedding day.

I use the wonderful to produce these books, designed by myself in the studio with input from the couples to make sure it’s just what you wanted.

Ibiza - Cap Blanc

Home from a little family break in the Balearics, feeling refreshed and ready for the second half of 2026.

There’s so much going on over the next few months and with our new business keeping us extra busy this summer we really needed the headspace!

Summer time is always crazy with weddings, family stuff and commercial work. Landscapes always take a back seat for a few months in the summer, but I loved this little scene on the way down to the Cap Blanc Aquarium.
