Definitely one of the highlights from last year. Greg Waite’s Capture of a lake record “Single Scale” at 44lb was a cracking way to start a Saturday morning…The photos definitely did the Capture Justice, but what a Carp!

I think it’s fair to say when I get a Call from Ollie Bates, he’s usually caught a Banger and this was no exception.. Yateley Match Lakes “Dungness Leather” is a very rarely caught Carp and easily one of the best looking and kept secrets in the South of the UK.

This was definitely I’d wanted to photograph for a while since seeing photo’s of her through mates, and with the autumn in full swing it was truly stunning to capture.

A little over a month ago now, but a few Photos from a real chilly morning with my good mate Dan and his Capture of Copse lakes “Shoulders”.

Weighing in at just over 42lb, She was at near Peak weight and although it wasn’t the best Conditions for Photography or fishing ironically, it was a well deserved capture for Dan with the help of Jake Wheeler. - safe to say we celebrated with a well earned Pub lunch afterwards!
