Hugely talented Somerset artist and photographer, Carolyn Leffley, asked me to shoot drone footage of the woodland/valley areas local to this Iron Age hill fort for her stunning video installation, 'Ancient Sea'. The 4k filming required sign-off from Somerset County Council, the Duchy of Cornwall, the Park Rangers and landing/take-off site landowners, as well as pre-flight clearances from Yeovilton and Westlands ATC. Here's a short compilation of some of the footage before Carolyn selected and specially treated her pick of the clips which made up one element of the installation.
