One of my favourite parts of a wedding day is stepping away from the crowd for a few minutes.

Just the two of you, a quiet corner of the venue, and a chance to breathe together.

These portraits are never rushed or overly directed. I simply guide couples into good light and let the moment unfold naturally.

Many couples tell me the same thing when they first enquire.

"We love your photos but we are a bit awkward in front of the camera."

The truth is that most people feel this way. For many couples their wedding day is the first time they have ever had professional photographs taken together, which can feel like a lot of pressure.

The good news is that you do not need to know how to pose or perform to have photographs you love. When you work with a photographer who creates a relaxed environment and gives gentle guidance, confidence tends to follow naturally.
