On Sunday I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful little fellas naming ceremony. It was my first photography session that didn’t involve any of my own family so the nerves did creep in and the self doubt kept trying to pay me a visit. But overall I am happy with how it turned out.

Realised I’ve not posted here in a while… to be honest I’ve been in a bit of a creative rut if that’s what you call it. I’ve not had any motivation recently to get out and take photos or even do my photography assignments for uni, mainly because I lack a lot of self belief and I am my worst critic, but I am trying to change that so watch this space there should hopefully be some new semi- decent photos for you to scroll past 📷📸 until then have a picture of a flower taken just before I got drenched 🌸

One of the still life photos I created for assignment 2. The topic was Hygge, which is a word I had never heard of, turns out Hygge is a Danish and Norwegian word for a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment.
I personally find Christmas time gives me the mood of coziness.

A couple of months ago I enrolled on to a postgraduate photography course and as I have started my first assignment it recommended a logo. I had the original ELR Photography water mark on my old photos but felt it was a little plain. So with a little renaming and the talent of this was created. So from now on this will be my watermark. Same photos by the same person just a slight change to the name.
