5 things that give me the wedding photography ICK.

Some might be controversial, but after years of photographing weddings, there are a few things that will never sit right with me.

We’re there because a couple has trusted us to capture one of the biggest days of their lives. Not to take over, compete with other suppliers, build our own portfolio at their expense or tell everyone else how they should be doing their job.

Guide when you need to. Work WITH the other suppliers. Respect the couple’s choices. And remember that photography is an art, there’s room for all of us to do things differently.

End of August is in sight and I think it’s safe to say wedding season has nearly BROKEN me 😂📸

It’s been absolutely insane in the best possible way, but between weddings, editing, galleries, emails, WhatsApps and trying to remember what day it is… I am hanging on by a thread 😂

Wouldn’t change it for anything though! Grateful for the madness 🤍
