Sometimes you just need another set of eyes on your design, to create the vision you had in mind ✨

Earlier this year I worked with John from Tree2Bar to give his website a refresh and improve the navigability.

Working towards a set launch date, I added elements such as accordions to make sections with lots of text less overwhelming - as well as static gallery sliders to display multiple images in one section 🍫

Text was split into multiple, digestible, sections and illustrations from the Tree2Bar branding 🌳 were also added as faded background elements, to add dimension and create differentiation between sections.

May Monthly Recap 🌊

May has such a varied month, bank holiday days out, fun in the sun (including a bike ride), with projects going on behind the scenes and I’m looking forward to continuing throughout June ☺️

🏃‍♀️ I’ve been loving going to run club every week and exploring new routes, training for the GNR in September.

New projects I’ve started this month include a branding project for a transformational coach, as well as a website design for a recruiter and continued designs for a specialised surgeon (I’ve just finished the first draft for the website design)👩🏼‍💻

🗺️ Out of office adventures have included visits to the seaside, bike rides, enjoying a Rudy’s pizza and many walks.

✏️ I’ve been getting ready to start a new website design project in June, as well as preparing for other projects coming up over the next few months.

Let’s take a look at ’s recently refreshed website 📷

I really enjoyed working with Jo-Anna across the end of last year and beginning of this year, to create the vision that Jo-Anna had in mind.

Jo-Anna already had a logo and an existing website, but we gave both of these a refresh 🌸 to create a brand identity and website visuals that would speak to the lovers and the moon-gazers.

Developing a new colour palette to embody Jo-Anna’s whimsical wedding photography, we added line-drawn illustrations within the logo (and throughout the site) to enhance the style.

The website now truly shows off Jo-Anna’s work, including a ‘Love Stories’ style blog to capture the individuality of each photoshoot ✨

The first five seconds on your website will make or break it🤯

Most website visitors will decide whether to stay on your site, or leave, immediately.

Make your website hero section count by telling people exactly what you do ⭐️ (and giving them a call to action).

Here’s a few recent hero sections I’ve designed - each equally scroll-stopping, but for different businesses.

It was such a joy to work with Kay and Nikki on the rebrand for The Yorkshire Appetite 🍔 (including a mini-brand for After Hours)

With older, existing branding in place, it was time for a refresh.

The new branding maintains existing elements: the cutlery and the rose 🌹 The cutlery has been adapted to have round edges, paired with the new typography, and the rose is used as the O of Yorkshire.

I also worked with Kay and Nikki to products a set of flyers, advertising the tours.

I love how the branding turned out, and the way it honours the original identity 🤩

We’re now a quarter (😮) of the way into the year and Spring has definitely sprung over the past week 🐣

Finally sharing the Daisy Age Art website and branding 🌼

Em came to me towards the end of last year, with a vision for an online space.
Initially creating the branding, a recreation of Em’s original hand-drawn daisy logo - we used a range of vibrant colours🩷 taken from throughout the mini worlds and collages, to create a range of logos that sum up the Daisy Age ethos.

The website continues the hand-drawn theme, using cut-outs from Em’s artwork.
Featuring a shop, the ability to book workshop or 1:1s, and a range of Daisy Age Art artwork ✨ The site is joyful, working in cohesion with Em’s Instagram - with images of artwork being the main focus.
