I've decided to offer a 25% "Returning to England” discount on all Documentary Family Photography packages!

I have been on a long pause from my work as a photographer, capturing the magic and beauty of your family life.

When I decided to come out to Peru to find healing for myself, I was advised, “You should take your camera!” “You’ll find lots of work!”

I didn’t take this advice because I knew that something very important for me on this journey was to reassess the different avenues of my work. I needed a bird’s-eye view — the space to step back and look at what I have been offering, and where I want to continue focusing my energy moving forward.

This break, and the time to reflect on all that I offer, has been invaluable, and I’m deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to do it.

One of the avenues of photography that I am now absolutely certain I want to continue, alongside other work, is Documentary Family Photography.

There is something deeply beautiful about capturing the true, raw, authentic love and connection within families.

Capturing the moments of fun, joy, tenderness, and chaos that make up your lives.

This style of photography is not posed. It is not scripted. It is a way of capturing what your real life looks like.

The way you feed and hold your baby to your breast.The way the littles run riot when they get excited.The quiet moments of connection between mum and dad, slipped in between nappy changes and settling baby.The games you and your children love to play on a normal Thursday evening.The tiredness and exhaustion of parenting.

It is all a precious part of the journey you are on with your family, and it all deserves to be treasured and remembered.

Offering Documentary Family Photography is my way of capturing and reminding you how magical your life already is — without masks, fancy outfits, or posing in ways that don’t feel natural.

These sessions have always been some of my favourites.

Days in the garden—growing plants, nurturing the land, cutting the grass.
Over at Kith, mowing the lawn became more than a chore.

It was a moment for curious B to learn how the lawnmower works,
before he was chased across the grass by it—
a familiar experience many of us carry from childhood.

Whether it’s the lawnmower, the hoover, or the household brush,
there’s something universally playful about being chased by a parent wielding tools.
Mundane in words, but unforgettable in memory.

B ran as fast as he could, joy and pride shining across his face as he outran the mower.
He collapsed on the grass, having outdone himself,
only to be met by his mother’s beautiful hands—
tenderly holding his tired feet,
a loving touch a child never forgets.

These moments are real.
These are moments we so often overlook,
but they are the ones to cherish.

A moment of pure mischief and magic—
the whole family bundled beneath a blanket, mid-game of hide and seek.
These are the treasures I love to catch:
laughter in the folds,
connection in the chaos,
memories made in the simplest games.
This is family, exactly as they are.

What I treasure most about this work
is being invited into the soft, unguarded rhythm of your home—
to witness what is real for you.

No staging. No directing.
Just truth, unfolding in its own time.
The quiet glances. The chaos. The tenderness.
The small sacred rituals that make your family yours.

In a documentary session, I don’t ask you to pose.
I’m there as a gentle witness—
to honour your love, your laughter, your everyday magic.
Raw, unfiltered, deeply human.

Here are some of the fleeting moments I’ve had the honour of capturing:
✨ messy cakes and flour-dusted faces
✨ trampoline giggles and bare feet in the air
✨ puppet shows and creative joy
✨ muddy walks and nature treasures gathered
✨ wood chopped, fire started & meals made
✨ water fights, wild laughter, sun-warmed skin
✨ plants watered with care, and Jenga towers falling in delight

Puppet show magic—woven with voices, laughter, and love.

What an honour it was to be gifted a personal performance, each creature brought to life with a different voice, each moment rich with imagination.

A father and his sons, lost in the world they created together - a dance of storytelling, silliness, and connection.

These are the treasures of childhood...
And I get to witness and capture them for you.

The trampoline is a great place for photographs! Bouncy and challenging for me but the results are just magical!
