Las Fiestas Patronales Part 1: At end of the summer season, Alcossebre holds a weekend festival in honour of San Juan Bautista. In this series of photos I've tried to capture the feeling of the festivities. It's a very traditional festival with a bullring, brass band, open air theatre, street stalls and a range of entertainment. I do not support bull baiting but have included photos taken in the bullring in order to give a full picture of the festival.
The photos are all taken handheld with the Sony RX100 VII and then denoised, cropped and edited in Lightroom.

In a field near Cap i Corb: After anxiously waiting with the sun obscured by clouds for the initial phase, just before sunset it dropped below the clouds and we were able to view a spectacular full eclipse. The photos are all taken handheld with the Sony RX100 VII and then cropped and tweaked in Lightroom.

Olliergues, a medieval village in the Auvergne region in central France. Nestled inside the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park, with rolling hills, historic architecture, and the meandering Ardoire river. It was 36 degrees outside so no people about, therefore I focused on the architecture and the wonderful shadows.
