Once everyone had eaten and the speeches were done, it was time for the cake cutting and the party to start. We even had our own celebrity look alike (if you can call it that), in the form of kier starmer...... point him out if you can see him!

While everyone was still outside, we had a little time to get the room set up and cake. We also had a couple of the must have shots left on the list to get. One of which being the bride on the bar shot. This one took a little while to get as everyone was a fair few drinks in at this point, and nobody (including us) could hold back the laughter. It was chaos.....but in the most fun way.

After getting photos with the car, we got everyone grouped back together for the confetti and group shots. It didnt take us very long at all, which gave the couple a little more time to mingle with the guests.

Once we got to the venue, there was plenty of time for everyone to get another drink, and to make a start with some of the formal photos on the list. This was the first time id been to Woodstock, so I had a look around the venue to start working out different locations for photos.
Not long after, the bride arrived and everyone was ushered into the ceremony room to get ready for the ceremony to start. The ceremony room was done really nice, and the big windows at the front filled the room with light which made everything feel light and airy.

The groom and the guests decided to meet for a few pre drinks at a pub near the wedding venue. Its a good job they did too, as one of the guests was nominated to sort all the ties and button holes for the groomsmen, before heading over to woodstock. Of course, I was already there to get people arriving and mingling. It was a super relaxed start to the day, and everyone was in good spirits for the day ahead.

By the time we got to the Isle of Skye we were wiped out. The B&B we stayed at was amazing though (for anyone looking for a nice place to stay that doesnt cost the earth, take a look at Woodbine House in Uig.

The hosts are super nice aswell, and give you all the inside info on places to go).
The next morning we were up and ready to go and headed over to the Old Man of Storr for a hike. It was high on my list of places to go visit. We got some amazing views and didnt take quite as long as we thought to get to the top.
From there we headed over to Inverness, and then south towards Edinburgh. We stopped of at the Fortingall Yew. One of the oldest trees in Britain (around 5,000 years old). After the quick stop, we were back on the road again and stumbled accross a place called the Falls of Dochart. We were in awe of the little village. What was supposed to be a quick stop for a drink turned into a good hour while I was skipping accross rocks in the river to get photos. It was so peaceful, with only the noise from the rushing water. Honestly, I could have stayed there all day. It was one of the best surprises of the trip.

Had some much needed time away a little while ago in Scotland. Of course I still took the camera with me, but this time it wasnt for work.
First stop was the Glenfinnan viaduct. After a long day of driving, I managed to peel myself out of bed in time to catch the Jacobite steam train (aka the Harry Potter train). There were far more people than I thought there would be, and by the time we got there, a lot of the car parks were full. Luckily we managed to get parked and had a full on march to the viewing point.
Then it was on to the next stop, the Eilean Donan castle, before heading over to the Isle of Skye.
