Honestly this day was just something else.
Her sister booked this shoot as a birthday surprise and was on FaceTime for the entire shoot. Engaging with me, hyping her up, sharing jokes. It was chaotic and beautiful at the same time.

And when she saw her images… her reaction in the last slide says it all. Those honest, unfiltered reactions are the ones I will never get tired of.

I’ve had a lot of sessions but watching two sisters share that moment, one in the room and one on a screen, was just beautiful to be part of.

If your person needs this experience, just book it for them. Don’t wait for them to do it themselves because they probably won’t. Do it like this sister did 🤍

Most couples don’t realise how much of their wedding day goes undocumented not because nothing happened, but because nobody knew to look for it.

The hands of the woman who raised you, placing the finishing touch on your hair. Your groom standing in a doorway, composed and completely in his moment.
A little one watching all the getting-ready chaos like it’s the greatest show she’s ever seen.
A bride by a window, just breathing stealing a quiet second before everything begins.

The videographers were directing Sekyiwaa on the balcony and I was just watching from the side. Then she turned slightly and that side profile was all I needed to see. One of my favorite frames from the wedding. 😍

For me as a photographer, a wedding story goes far beyond the couple. My eyes are always moving, paying attention to the people who came to be part of the day.

I’m always drawn to the candid moments happening naturally throughout the day.. moments that can never be recreated.

Those small, honest reactions are what make each wedding unique.Those moments help tell the story in a way that feels complete

I was genuinely thrilled when Pearly shared her blossoming birthday concept with me. It was very symbolic of her new age. Bringing it to life was even more beautiful than we imagined, thanks a lot to .rosesgh for the floral board which transformed the entire set.
