We managed to fit this one in before all the leaves had fallen, before the coldest weather had set in, and unbeknownst to us at the time, before the baby had arrived three weeks early! I've been photographing these two since they were in high school and couldn't have had more fun doing a photo session if I tried. I may or may not have walked into the river to get some of these shots and later had dinner in a beautiful restaurant with wet feet and pants . . . but none of this matters when you're on a mission. Also, I love these two (now three) to the moon, and that's worth all the river water in the world. ❀❀πŸ₯°

Sending a BIG heartfelt thank you to all of you beautiful people who donated to Lenstangent to help the women of Eswatini: Together we raised over $600!! Vimbai sent me this beautiful video today to offer their thanks. In the video, Vimbai told me that the woman says: "You have given me Christmas!" Then she said "let me pray"....."I thank you Lord for what you are doing through this your child whom you have sent as an angel to us who have nothing at all, we are suffering. Bless her Lord and the work she is doing". We all know that Vimbai is doing the hardest work and we are happy to support her mission!

What kinds of fundraising methods do you use in your NGO? Tell me about it in the comments below! uses a cultural exchange program to raise funds and introduce American teenagers and adults to the Ghanaian culture. This fosters a much stronger connection between the two cultures than could ever exist without this kind of face-to-face experience.
