President Nana Akufo-Addo has highlighted Ghana's goal to use its longstanding relationship with Italy to address the rising test of frailty inside the sub-Saharan African area.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is supporting Asamoah Gyan's All Regional Games, which will begin in November 2024. The competition will feature athletes from nine sports disciplines, including football, athletics, volleyball, basketball, tennis, table tennis, boxing, eSports, and arm-wrestling. The GFA President, Kurt Okraku, praised Gyan's efforts in fixing fundamentals and attracting young talent. A regional tour is scheduled to raise awareness, and trials will be held in June to identify top athletes. The Games will feature athletes aged 18 to 23 competing against regional peers.
