Ghana Climate Innovation Centre 6th Annual Incubating Climate Innovation Symposium 2024 brought together key stakeholders, including financial institutions, policy makers, donors, and climate entrepreneurs under the theme “Catalyzing Climate Innovation: From Ideas to Impact”, to discuss whether current financial models, products, impact investment models and policies in Ghana can foster the transition to a robust low carbon economy.

African Venture Philanthropy Alliance (AVPA) inaugural event in Ghana that brought together the region’s top impact investors and innovators for a Climate Deal Room and Networking.

The event spotlighted the critical funding gap in Africa’s impact sector, particularly the scarcity of Risk (Catalytic) Capital.Five promising enterprises from the agribusiness, e-commerce, logistics, waste management, and renewable energy sectors, presented their visions, seeking a collective $6.1 million to fuel their growth.
