NORTHERN FESTIVALS Feok in focus:

During the Feok Festival of the Bulsa people, the land's deities and ancestors are revered through a solemn prayer, seeking protection and blessings.

PITO, a traditional brew made from red sorghum, millet, or corn, is used for the sacred libation ritual. Usually during the festival a royal servant or queen carries or holds the pot of PITO with a Calabash and that's a significant cultural importance. A kingsman leads the prayer and libation, after which a warrior partakes in a portion of the beverage, symbolizing communal unity.
