Μια συνάντηση που σου κόβει την ανάσα στη ζώνη buffer του Εθνικού Πάρκου Bandhavgarh στην Ινδία. Από απόσταση μόλις 3 μέτρων, αυτός ο μεγαλοπρεπής αρσενικός τίγρης με κάρφωσε με ένα έντονο βλέμμα πριν γυρίσει ήρεμα και εξαφανιστεί στην πυκνή βλάστηση, κινούμενος με απαράμιλλη δύναμη και αυτοπεποίθηση. Το να γίνεσαι μάρτυρας της κίνησης του πιο δυνατού αιλουροειδούς του πλανήτη, που κυριαρχεί στη ζούγκλα κατά τη διάρκεια της ημέρας, είναι η απόλυτη εμπειρία άγριας ζωής.

Golden hour at the Axios Delta.
Early March 2026, and the wetlands are alive. I spent a morning tracking this magnificent Short-eared Owl in its natural habitat. There’s something cinematic about that low morning sun—the backlighting (rim light) catches every feather, turning a simple flight into a glowing masterpiece.
This series captures the raw intensity of the hunt. Shot with the incredible precision of the Sony a1 II and the razor-sharp Sony 300mm f/2.8 GM. The speed and clarity of this combo are simply on another level.

🦅 Χρυσή ώρα στο Δέλτα του Αξιού.
Πρωινό στις αρχές Μαρτίου του 2026, και ο υδροβιότοπος σφύζει από ζωή. Είχα την τύχη να παρακολουθήσω αυτή την εντυπωσιακή Βαλτόμπουφο την ώρα που κυνηγούσε. Ο χαμηλός πρωινός ήλιος δημιούργησε ένα μοναδικό οπίσθιο φωτισμό (backlight), αναδεικνύοντας κάθε λεπτομέρεια στα φτερά της και δημιουργώντας ένα φωτεινό περίγραμμα που μοιάζει σχεδόν εξωπραγματικό.
Μια σειρά από λήψεις που αποτυπώνουν την ένταση της στιγμής. Όλες οι φωτογραφίες τραβήχτηκαν με την απίστευτη ταχύτητα της Sony a1 II και τον κορυφαίο Sony 300mm f/2.8 GM.

Few places on earth can match the ethereal beauty of Lake Kerkini at sunset. Watching the Dalmatian Pelicans take off against the fiery sky is a moment of pure wildlife magic. The speed and autofocus of the Sony a1 II captured every water droplet and wingbeat with breathtaking precision.

Δεν υπάρχουν πολλά μέρη στον κόσμο που να συγκρίνονται με την ομορφιά της Λίμνης Κερκίνης την ώρα του δειλινού. Η στιγμή που οι αργυροπελεκάνοι σκίζουν το νερό υπό το φως του ηλιοβασιλέματος είναι καθαρή μαγεία. Η ταχύτητα και η ακρίβεια της Sony a1 II έκαναν αυτή τη δύσκολη λήψη να μοιάζει με παιχνίδι.
