I am through and through an ocean kid 🙌🏽
I used to barely get out of the water for anything 😂🐬
So, obviously, it's been my dream to one day live at the beach 🥰

Though I'm afraid, this photo, is as close as I'm getting to the ocean for now 😅

What about you? More of an ocean or mountains aficionado/a? 🏞🏖

Hey there,

finally the sun is back!! 😍☀️
And in honour of, hopefully, a sunny weekend 😎
I wanted to share this beautiful photograph with you guys!

Two years ago, I was passing exactly this spot, driving with a friend of mine, at the most beautiful stunning time of day 😍
The sun was setting, so it was an orange-red colour, and it was hitting the bays at the perfect angle!
Everything looked golden! The waves were crashing against the rocks, the sky had a purple-blue ish colour - it looked absolutely magical! ✨
It was like the most perfect photo I had ever seen, for me it looked like straight out of a dream. But as quickly as we saw this spot, we were already passing it 🚗
Since there aren't that many stops on the highway in Chile, and you have barely an opportunity to turn around (usually in the next small village that is often half an hour or longer away), we couldn't get back so I could take a photo of it.
Saying that I was seriously bummed, was a total understatement!
I couldn't shake the image I had seen, and I wanted to get another opportunity to capture that beauty sooo badly.
I took my aunt on a little drive to come out to this spot, a couple of times, when I was staying with her, but I either hadn't found the spot anymore or it had gotten too dark - so I had to give up eventually 🥺
It's true that I sometimes feel a deep sadness for photos that I didn't take, but I was never THIS sad!

Last year, I went back to see my family again, since my grandma wasn't doing so well for a bit.
Due to Covid and to protect my family, especially my abuelita, I decided to rent a car again and I was travelling with my camera - just in case - when I saw this spot in my side mirror, again!😁
I had to get out and, even if the conditions weren't this magical again, at least get ONE photo of this location.
Now I get, that after my description, this might be a little bit of a letdown 😂
But it was beautiful nonetheless, and felt fitting with the weather we got to enjoy today 🥰☀️

Jumping into the weekend like these two 🥰

This photo, I took in 2020, just before the pandemic and the masks were everywhere. Feels so absurd thinking that life was still as we know it from before the pandemic 🥰🥳
I think I might have taken this one with my cousins camera.. I saw people running into the ocean and kids playing around, seemingly with no care in the world and fully in the moment.
Something that suddenly became really rare, since the last two years were obviously filled with worry and fear.
But this moment is one of my favourites ♥️
The fun almost literally drips of this photo 🥰✨
Zoom in - I’ll wait 😉
Look at her face 🥰 I think it’s hard to not feel that joy 🥳
If the future seems so unsure and the past has passed, the only thing you have is right now - and that is exactly what you can make the most out of 😉

So, I dare you to let everything be for a minute and just fully enjoy where you are right now 😉🥰
And then try to do that every day, and every day for every moment 😁
It’s hard, but that’s how you can find moments in life (even in this world right now) that seem this carefree and full of joy again ✨

It’s the journey ✨
Becoming, changing, growing..
Whatever you want to call it, I believe that that is the most fun part about who one day we might be ☺️
And if we do it right, I don’t think we’ll ever stop in a state when we are not flowing into someone even better, stronger, kinder.. 🥰
You maybe have heard about ‘flow’, since it seems to pop up more and more, at least in my life.
And I didn’t really understand at first what they meant, but then again I haven’t read the books or listened to the audiobooks or talks yet (still haven’t 🙋🏽‍♀️😅🙈)..
But I heard someone say, ‘flow’ is when you’re so enrapt in what you’re passionate about, what you love doing.
Something that eben makes you forget to eat, that that is when you’re experiencing flow.. ✨
Again, I haven’t read the books yet, so I might be completely off here, but if that is it -
I’ve been fairly good at flowing since I was little 😂 they even checked my hearing because I could get so focused, so lost in my thing, that I stopped paying attention to anything around me 🙈
And I still get this way 🥰 I regularly forget to eat 😅
I just didn’t have the word for it, since getting lost in what I love doing (and that’s quite a few things, as it turns out), has always been something I just fell into 🤔
But honestly - it’s the best feeling!! 🙌🏽😍
Just don’t forget to set an alarm for food, or if you have an awesome special person around you 😏, tell them to maybe remind you every now and then to eat something 😅

Making myself some food now, before I fall into flowstate again 😁✨

Try it out, or read some of those books or listen to some of the talks about it 😘

‘Flowing’ is a lot of fun 🥰♥️

to all the souls who might not have someone to hear it from 🥰

This photo is my today’s “spirit animal” 😁
We’re so lucky to have the day of love filled with so much sunlight☀️
It’s truly an entirely different vibe ✨
Amazing how much of a difference the sun can have on one’s mood, energy level and general well-being 🥰

Also, I have a couple of palm trees and monstera plants in front of my living room windows 🌴🪴
So when the sunlight came through, this was the first moment that came to mind 🥰

Btw, I know that the trees in Joshua Tree National Park aren’t palm trees 😅, but do they fall into the cactus category? Because when I think of cactus, I always have this 🌵 in my head 😁
I found them super intriguing when I visited.. I stopped so many times on my way in, that I feel like I might have barely seen much of the actual national park yet 😳🤭

Can’t wait to visit again!! 😍☀️

I feel like I got up super early and started to do some actual work at my screens, also much earlier than usual 💥

Buuut - I think that might just be an illusion, since the sun actually decided to shine through the cloudy skies today, I feel like I can actually differentiate between morning and midday energy 😄☀️

Though I haven't had coffee yet, so maybe it's just all a big blur 🤷🏽‍♀️, and I'm still not really awake - since I barely got sh** done 😅

This whole week has been super cloudy and grey, and it's really messing with my "activity level" 😳 I feel like whenever I looked outside, it was just this grey blanket over the city, and I really miss the morning sun looking through the windows and giving you new energy to start the day..🙌🏽☀️

Anyone else, or is that just me?! 😉

Cool - so I figured since the sun graced us with new energy and I'm actually having fun getting all the ToDos out of the way 😁
I would post one of my favourite morning moments, that I captured a little while ago, when I felt ALL the feels, I mentioned above 🏞☀️

I had been driving for most of the night to get to my next stop, from where I wanted to make a trip out to the Yosemite National Park during the day, but when I got to the turnoff to go and have a nap at the hotel, I kept going despite my level of energy and lack of coffee to see this.
And I am sooo stoked I did, because this view with the sun, literally washing the landscape, was beyond beautiful!! 😍😎
Having the sun just shine at you, straight up and fully blown, truly does give you SO much good energy 🤩
I felt so awake, that I thought I could stay up all day😅, luckily that only wore off, AFTER getting to the hotel - where I found out that I had lost my reservation since I didn't arrive in time..

Fair enough - but THIS was so worth it! 😏👌🏽🥰
Wouldn't give this moment away for the world..✨

Ohhh this was a fun trip!!☀️

I remember leaving early (my kind of early!) because I had like a 2hrs drive ahead of me. It was a super sunny, beautiful and also really hot day..
Especially if you were driving in the direction of Palm Springs 🥵
I think my phone told me, at some point, that it was 48°C outside🤯
The last time I saw it climb up the 40° latter, might have been in Aussie.. 😳
Anyways.. definitely not the point 😂, so I had put on a cute dress and a bikini, to dress appropriately for the weather, you know?!
Yeah well, a lot of dudes, especially guys filling up their tanks at the gas station where I had to stop by on my way out, thought so too 😂🤷🏽‍♀️👙
So I drove out, because Joshua Tree National Park was really high up on my 'Have to Visit' list, with my sunglasses on, my camera hidden from plain sight, cranking my country playlist, only to arrive just in time to catch the last bit of golden hour, sunset and then later on, the night sky ✨🥰
It was sooo beautiful!! 😍
Honestly one of my favourite solo road trips that I did, apart from the whole thing obviously, which was technically a 10-day road trip in itself.. 😉
But going out for a one-day road trip, not really packing anything, taking your phone, your keys, some glasses, maybe a hoodie (well, as a photographer.. obviously your camera 😏📸)
And then just GO! 🤩🙌🏽

10/10 recommend!! 😁🥳
