When the sun disappears, Santorini doesn’t stop being beautiful.

The light simply changes.

For this couple portrait, we used the soft after-sunset tones together with the clean lines of a traditional Santorini church to create something calm, elegant and a little more atmospheric.

This is one of my favorite parts of an evening photoshoot.

Golden hour gives us warmth. Sunset brings the color. And the minutes that follow create a softer, quieter mood that works beautifully for more composed couple portraits.

Different light creates a completely different Santorini.

And sometimes, some of the most beautiful photographs happen after everyone else thinks sunset is over.

This is what a family photoshoot should feel like.

Not standing still and trying to hold the perfect smile.

Talking, laughing, moving around and actually enjoying the morning together.

During a family session in Imerovigli, I’ll always create the beautiful family portraits everyone wants — but I’m also watching for everything that happens in between.

The real smiles. The little jokes. The hugs. The moments nobody planned.

Those are often the photographs that feel the most like you.

My job is to give you enough guidance so you never feel lost in front of the camera, without turning your Santorini morning into an hour of stiff poses.

With one of Imerovigli’s beautiful blue domes behind them, this family portrait has everything I love about photographing the island in the morning — soft light, clean colors and that unmistakable Santorini atmosphere.

There’s something effortlessly elegant about wearing white against the timeless architecture of Santorini.

The soft morning light, whitewashed walls and clean lines of Imerovigli created the perfect setting for this couple portrait — simple, bright and unmistakably Greek.

Choosing what to wear can completely change the feeling of a photoshoot.

Here, the neutral styling allowed the couple to blend beautifully with the surroundings while keeping the photographs fresh, romantic and timeless.

No elaborate setup needed.

Just two people, beautiful morning light and the simplicity of Santorini in white.

The best moments rarely need much posing.

A hug that turns into a kiss. A kiss that turns into laughter. And suddenly, the photograph feels completely natural.

With soft Santorini light around them, I simply gave this couple enough space to enjoy the moment while keeping a little guidance behind the camera.

That’s how I love couple photography to feel — relaxed, affectionate and never forced.

Of course we’ll create the beautiful portraits too.

But it’s often these little moments in between that bring the whole story to life.

Because years from now, you won’t only want to remember how Santorini looked.

You’ll want to remember how happy you were together while you were here.

Sometimes the background can be nothing more than a wall.

And the light can create everything else.

For this photograph, I used flash to turn a simple Santorini wall into part of the composition — playing with silhouette, shadow, shape and contrast to create something completely different from the classic island portrait.

No caldera.

No blue dome.

No epic landscape needed.

Just light, an idea and a little experimentation.

I always like adding a few creative photographs to a session whenever the location and light give us the opportunity. They bring a completely different energy to the final gallery — and often become some of the images that stand out the most.

Oia before the world wakes up.

There’s something completely different about experiencing Santorini at sunrise.

The first light begins to touch the whitewashed village, the streets are still quiet, and Oia has a peaceful atmosphere that disappears as the day begins.

For a solo photoshoot, this is one of my favorite times to photograph here.

We can move through the village, explore different viewpoints and create portraits with the soft colors and calm feeling of early morning Santorini.

Yes, sunrise means an early alarm.

But when you have Oia like this around you, it’s worth it.

A quiet morning. Beautiful light. And Santorini memories that are entirely your own.

Soft Mediterranean light, iconic Santorini architecture and a portrait with a more fashion-inspired approach.

For this solo session, the idea wasn’t simply to create beautiful vacation photographs, but to play with styling, posture, movement and composition for something a little more editorial.

Morning light in Oia gives us a beautiful balance — clean, soft tones while the white architecture becomes an incredible natural backdrop.

Elegant when it needs to be.

Bold when the photograph calls for it.

Hand in hand through the quiet streets of Imerovigli. 🤍

Some couple photographs don’t need complicated poses or dramatic moments.

Just walking together through Santorini in the soft morning light can create something simple, natural and timeless.

I love using movement during a couple photoshoot — walking, talking, looking at each other and enjoying the surroundings — because it gives you photographs that feel relaxed while still being carefully guided.

And mornings in Imerovigli are perfect for exactly that.

Whitewashed paths, beautiful Santorini architecture and a whole village to explore together.

One of those unmistakable Imerovigli scenes — and a beautiful setting for a solo portrait.

Early in the morning, the softer light and quieter atmosphere give us the freedom to slow down, explore the village and create photographs that feel elegant and relaxed.
