FOR BUSINESS ENQUIRES PLEASE VISIT: http: Living is art..... Capturing life is Artistry

I adore capturing the joy as well as the poignancy of the day, having as my ultimate goal to create unique photos that my couples will admire for the rest of their lives. There are a few things in my life that I can compare to the feeling of self-fulfillment that I get when the couples, whose weddings I shoot, beam with happiness when they get their wedding photographs in their hands. I would describe by personal style as creative documentary and editorial style wedding photography.

There is something special about a quiet morning spent together before the wedding day begins. Taking those slow, intentional hours to get ready sets a relaxed tone for the rest of the day, especially when your backdrop is the iconic coastline of southern Italy.

Captured at Villa Torre Saracena, this bridal editorial session showcases one of the many reasons couples choose a Capri wedding. Tucked into dramatic cliffs, this private villa features a stunning terrace with sweeping views of the world-famous Faraglioni, creating an unforgettable setting for both getting ready and exchanging vows.

For couples planning a destination wedding in Italy, the getting-ready location is far more than a practical space. It becomes the backdrop to some of the most personal moments of the day and helps establish a strong sense of place from the very first photographs.

Whether you're planning a larger celebration or an intimate Capri elopement, choosing a venue with exceptional views, beautiful architecture, and natural light can shape the entire experience.

A few highlights from Michelle & Scott’s recent wedding in Santorini, which I absolutely loved being a part of.

After meeting in Singapore and navigating the early years of their relationship between Malaysia and Singapore, they chose Santorini as a meeting point for family and friends travelling from both the US and Asia.

For a wedding that brought together loved ones from opposite sides of the world, Canaves Epitome felt like the perfect setting. Luxurious, relaxed surrounded by lush gardens with centuries-old olive trees and overlooking the Aegean Sea, it reflected the atmosphere of the day beautifully.

There is something fascinating about the way black and white photography bridges the gap between decades. In this carousel, I’ve brought together images shot recently alongside frames captured more than ten years ago. Despite the years between them, they prove that the interplay of light and shadow is a truly timeless language.

I’ve always been drawn to the fact that a camera doesn’t see the world exactly the way the human eye does. This was especially true back when I was shooting exclusively on film. I became obsessed with the interplay of light and shadow, and with the idea that photography was never just about documenting reality, but about interpreting it. Learning how those elements could be shaped and manipulated creatively is still one of the things I love most about photography.

There is a powerful energy in the south of Italy that creates a summer Mediterranean aesthetic that feels both playful and refined. Puglia, especially, has a way of stripping everything back to the essentials: light, texture, and soul.

I recently spent an incredible few days shooting at the beautiful Masseria San Giovanni, whose whitewashed walls acted as natural reflectors, creating that signature Mediterranean glow that defines an Italian summer.

Most of all, I truly enjoyed collaborating with the amazing and a stellar team of creatives to bring this vision to life.

There is a reason Bellagio is known as the "Pearl of Lake Como."
Capturing Tania and Jacob’s engagement session in the historic gardens of Villa Melzi was a truly amazing experience.
Looking forward to heading back to Lake Como to photograph their wedding this September.

My advice to new photographers asking how to differentiate their images from the crowd is, first and foremost, to train their eye to read light and use it creatively, with the help of suitable photographic equipment based on the unique circumstances.

Flash is a very useful tool, and I used it extensively for daylight photos (in addition to nighttime shots of course) over 10 years ago to overcome the limitations of the cameras available at the time, especially when shooting in Santorini, where the sun is often directly in the frame. That was during the heyday of the so-called 'fine art wedding photography,' and my photos were very different from what was trending at the time, which was an obsession with natural light only.

However, I have never covered an entire wedding using a flash on my camera, and I certainly don't do that now, especially since cameras have become more sophisticated in terms of dynamic range. My photos have always been a combination of natural light, along with the use of reflectors and off-camera flash with a softbox, when and if needed. The images in this carousel post are examples of this diversified use. By the way, I'm currently still using my Elinchrom ELB 400, but I'm considering switching, so any recommendations and insights would be greatly appreciated.

The bottom line is to be creative with light and lighting, and of course, to know your equipment very well. Just because daylight flash use is popular right now, it doesn’t excuse poor lighting skills masquerading as something trendy.

There is something truly "Eternal" about a wedding in the heart of Rome.
As a wedding photographer, capturing a love story against the backdrop of the Janiculum Hill is a dream. We started the day with a chic bridal session featuring Anastazia in a stunning lace robe and silk-clad bridesmaids, before moving into the ceremony where the joy was palpable. The reception inside the villa’s gilded halls, under those massive crystal chandeliers, felt like stepping directly into a piece of Italian history.
