We embark on another adventure, this time we are going to Greece in search of world war 2 wrecks. We are on a mission to find HMS Perseus, which is a British submarine, one of the largest of it's time, and was sunken by an Italian mine in 1941. In our search we discovered that in the area there is a bomber plane, Junker 88.

Lionfish.
Although it has been deemed as a invasion species the colors, the size and the shape of it's spikes makes it spectacular to photograph it.

📍We are continuing our adventure with yet another wreck🚤, but this time a slightly different one, that of an aeroplane. Just like the submarine, this plane is from the WW2 time but very little is known about it, only that is a Luftwaffe Junker 88 bomber. We tried to find it with our sonar but couldn't find it, due to it's size and positioning, and we had a bit of wind and waves🌊 started pushing us around so we had to abort the dive.
After the weather cleared, we dove directly and after a few wrong turns and finding nothing, at the end of our dive we have found the 2 engines at roughly 20m of depth and we had to go again and try to find the rest of the plane.
On the second dive, we followed the engines and the debris and finally we have found the part we were looking for, it was sitting quietly on the edge of a drop off, close to 40m depth, beneath heavily circulated waters by unaware tourists.

Recipe for an epic dive:

Put together a crazy group of friends and divers on a catamaran in Greece add a story about a WW2 submarine sunken by an Italian mine and ended up at about 50m of depth (tech dive, not for recreational divers), a touch of searching it with the help of a sonar and at the end perfect weather with good visibility.
