It’s been a while since the end of last September and my last post but that’s what happens after transformative journeys like the one I had in India 🇮🇳 for 3 months from January till April: you take the time to let all changes to sink in and integrate in your life back to your homeland. It has been a soft and slow transition with powerful insights. A lot has changed and a lot will change. Inside and out. I now feel good to start sharing again with all of you.

And this sharing is sentimental to me, more than any other one in the past since it includes my little brother. I was honoured to plan and capture his engagement to his fiancée, Colette. An afternoon back in May at the front side of Skaros Rock, where I witnessed Dimitris to look Colette into her eyes and see a lifelong partner.
_
I have cried in the past while capturing the bond of two people but those tears were heartfelt and relieving. Watching your brother inviting a woman to open and walk the path of life together is a riveting moment.

May you both be for each other what water is for the earth and light is for the soul. Love you.

Imagine how it feels to come back from a 1-month backpacking and roadtrip in Guatemala & Costa Rica (stay tuned for more stories in my personal account: ) and finding your country, at last, legalising same-sex marriage!

What a ride life is. A step forward. A big one closer to love. A huge one for the LGBTQ community. For people that have suffered for years in hesitation and fear to share openly their true selves. For people that have been rejected and marginalized from society just because of their orientation. For people that have given daily battles to prove that love and inclusivity is all that matters, no matter your gender.
_
The last 8 years of my life I have been lucky enough to meet and capture through my lens, amongst others, same-sex couples from all around the world that made me feel really connected to them. Connected to a love that wasn’t easy to reach the level of intimacy and warmth, unraveling in front of my eyes.
_
From a couple that lived in different countries and traveled to see and touch each other to another one whose part of the family didn’t approve their bond and chose not to attend their wedding, these stories have awakened me in the most vivid way. They have imprinted inside of me a feeling that was converted to a photographic process which respectfully approaches every love story shared with me and leads to the creation of a visual legacy worth to be remembered.

May this seed planted on the 15th of February 2024, progressively grow to a life of acceptance, diversity and equality. As one of my favorite friends and photographer says: αγάπη ίσον αγάπη. ♥️🌈🇬🇷🌞
