The tear of the Dragon.

According to the myth, once upon a time, a dragon lived in the nearby village. Despite his dreadful appearance he was good-natured. However, the locals decided to throw him out of the village and so lead him far away on the Grammos massif. The dragon felt embittered at humans and asked to rest for a while on a higher location facing his beloved village. He then shed a tear which became the first Dragon Lake.
