What's New in SmartEye 1.3.0

New Features

Drift Indicator — Monitor and correct mount drift over time. The indicator appears automatically whenever drift reaches 15% or greater. Enable it via SmartEye menu → Settings → Display → Drift Indicator (also available in the new Quick Access Menu).

Quick Access Menu — Long-press the Astro Crown (the rotary encoder k**b on the side of SmartEye) while in Live View to open a quick menu with shortcuts to Crosshairs, Focus Assist, Drift Indicator, and View Last Image.
View Last Image — Instantly review your most recent stacked image. Accessible from the new Quick Access Menu.

Adjustable Sensor Gain — Switch between High and Low gain settings to better match your imaging conditions. Configure via SmartEye menu → Settings → Light Sensor → Sensor Gain.

Auto Exposure in Live View — In Live View, rotate the Astro Crown to adjust exposure time from 0.1 to 1.0 seconds. Setting exposure to the lowest value now triggers Auto Exposure, which works better for bright objects like the Moon.

New Image Adjustment Controls (Web Dashboard) — Fine-tune your images with new color balance (red, green, blue) and Image Stretch (curve, scale) controls. Settings persist between stacking sessions (note: they reset after a reboot).

Wi-Fi Security Level Display — The SmartEye Wi-Fi settings screen now shows the security level of your connection (High: WPA2, or Low: WPA).

Fixes & Improvements

Added the missing header information required by PixInsight when reading FITS files.

Fixed an issue where images could fade to black over time under certain conditions.

Numerous other minor improvements and stability fixes.

The PegasusAstro Orbit is our new modular 1.25'' rotating diagonal, specifically designed for optical systems with extremely limited backfocus, such as the SmartEye unit.

SmartEye can be attached directly by using the provided (in box) M54M to M48M

It features dual-axis rotation, allowing for ergonomic viewing regardless of your telescope's orientation.

Orbit will be available in two versions:

* A dedicated model for refractors.
* A dedicated SCT version for Celestron SCTs (older) with the required adaptation system. (105 backfocus matched)
* A dedicated SCT Edge version for Edge Celestron telescopes with the required adaptation system. (146 backfocus matched + variable backfocus adapter)
