Story time! So I went to Santorini for a friend’s wedding 🥰 and since I was going alone and was going to be all glammed up for the wedding that evening anyway, I figured I’d just get some photos since it’s literally stunning there. I wasn’t paying attention to my phone all morning as I was showering, getting ready, etc. When I finally went to look at my phone, I saw a bunch of messages from the photographer bailing on me at the last minute 😫 I was soo bummed. Butttt I wasn’t giving up so I scoured the internet and messaged every Santorini photographer I could find…
I got so freaking lucky because responded right away and agreed to a last second 30 min photoshoot in this adorable village, Imerovigli (where I was staying and where the wedding was). I asked him if he could pick me up (I wasn’t trying to walk there in wedges even if it was only a 10-15 minute walk) and he so kindly obliged. Since it was such a last minute booking, he showed up on his Harley 🏍️ ! 😂🤣 He told me he normally picks people up in a nice car but he was not planning to be working and wasn’t prepared for me! 😂 So I literally got on the back of his motorcycle wearing this gown, hanging on for dear life with one hand and holding the bottom of my dress in the other to keep it from touching the exhaust pipe and like melting. 🤣
That whole hilarious situation made the experience that much more fun. I’m so appreciative that he took my last minute booking and brought me to these awesome views that I might’ve otherwise missed. Such a blast!
