Diamanti beach - Skiathos
If you are visiting Skiathos, make sure to visit Diamanti Beach. This small, hidden cove on the southern coast of Skiathos offers a peaceful, natural setting and a unique atmosphere for those who want to discover the island's lesser-known side. The beach can be reached by rental boat or via a short walk from the southern end of the Kanapitsa Peninsula, making the journey there part of the experience.

Not every journey ends where it was meant to.

These photos were taken in February. Heavy winter rains had washed away part of the mountain road towards Mikros Aselinos, making it impossible to continue.

Most of the time, you only see the final photographs. Sometimes it's worth showing the journey behind them, too.

One of the oldest monasteries on the island, it is set in a peaceful and unique location in the lesser-known northern part of Skiathos. The monastery is named after Saint Charalambos, who is revered in the Greek Orthodox tradition as a protector against disease and epidemics.
