“Shadows of Speed” by Vladimir Rys // Έκθεση Φωτογραφίας

Φωτογραφίες του κορυφαίου φωτογράφου της Formula 1, Vladimir Rys, θα κοσμίσουν την έκθεση «Shadows of Speed», που θα φιλοξενηθεί για περίπου ένα μήνα στην γκαλερί Pinakotheke. Πρόκειται για μια συνεργασία της Pinakotheke με την Uptown Media House, με σκοπό οι κάτοικοι της πόλης που κατάγεται ο Vladimir Rys, να απολαύσουν την ξεχωριστή ματιά του καταξιωμένου καλλιτέχνη.
Ο Vlad, γνωστός σε διεθνή επίπεδο για την εξαιρετική του ικανότητα να αιχµαλωτίζει με το φακό του τον δυναµικό και ριψοκίνδυνο κόσµο του µηχανοκίνητου αθλητισµού, προσφέρει µια καθηλωτική µατιά στην ταχύτητα, την ακρίβεια και το συναίσθηµα που καθορίζουν τη Formula1. Προσπαθεί πάντα να ανακαλύψει την ιστορία πίσω από μια εικόνα με διαφορετικό τρόπο και δεν θέλει να χάνει χρόνο για μία “σίγουρη” φωτογραφία, αλλά κυνήγα μία άλλη που δεν είναι σίγουρος πως θα έχει, αλλά αν την καταφέρει θα είναι τέλεια.
Από το βρυχηθµό των κινητήρων µέχρι τις λεπτές, αλλά δυναµικές κινήσεις των οδηγών, το έργο του Vlad ξεπερνά τις τυπικές εικόνες του αγώνα. Οι φωτογραφίες του απεικονίζουν ακόµα και τις ήσυχες στιγµές ανάµεσα στη δράση υψηλών οκτανίων, αναδεικνύοντας το ανθρώπινο στοιχείο πίσω από τις µηχανές και τη σκληρή αφοσίωση, που απαιτείται για να διαγωνιστεί κανείς σε αυτό το επίπεδο.
Αυτή η έκθεση είναι αφιερωμένη στη γιορτή της ταχύτητας, του θεάµατος και του πνεύµατος της Formula 1.
Το δηµιουργικό project "Pinakotheke" του φωτογράφου Στέφανου Τσακίρη στεγάζεται στο κέντρο της Θεσσαλονίκης και σκοπός του είναι η προώθηση της δουλειάς του φωτογράφου µέσα από µια ποικιλία τεχνικών εκτύπωσης φωτογραφίας σε διάφορα προϊόντα καθώς και εκδηλώσεις-workshops φωτογραφικού περιεχοµένου.
Η Uptown Media House είναι ενα δημιουργικό γραφείο παραγωγής οπτικοακουστικού περιεχομένου με πολύχρονη εμπειρία και βάσεις στο broadcasting. Στόχος της είναι να λέει ιστορίες με τρόπο ελκυστικό ώστε να συνδέονται οι θεατές μαζί τους.

Photographs by the leading Formula 1 photographer, Vladimir Rys, will grace the exhibition "Shadows of Speed", which will be hosted for about one month at Pinakotheke gallery. It's a collaboration between Pinakotheke and Uptown Media House, with the aim of allowing the residents of the city where Vladimir Rys comes from, to enjoy the unique glimse of the renowned artist.
Internationally known for his exceptional ability to capture the dynamic and risky world of motorsport with his lens, Vlad offers a riveting look at the speed, precision and emotion that define Formula 1. He's always trying to discover the story behind an image in a different way and doesn't want to waste time on a "sure" photo ,but he's rather hunting for another one that he's not sure he'll get, but if he gets it, it'll be perfect.
From the roar of the engines to the subtle yet dynamic movements of the drivers, Vlad's work transcends typical racing imagery. His photographs capture even the quiet moments amidst the high-octane action, highlighting the human element behind the machines and the fierce dedication required to compete at this level.
This exhibition is dedicated to celebrating speed, spectacle and spirit of Formula 1.
The creative project "Pinakotheke" of the photographer Stefanos Tsakiris is housed in the center of Thessaloniki and its purpose is to promote the work of the photographer through a variety of photo printing techniques on various products as well as events-workshops of photographic content.
Uptown Media House is a creative audiovisual content production agency with many years of experience and foundations in broadcasting. Its goal is to tell stories in an engaging way that viewers can connect with them.
