Happy Tuen Ng Festival

It's been two years since I last saw dragon boats racing in the waters of the Aberdeen typhoon shelter. Due to the covid situation here in Hong Kong, most dragon boat races were canceled and kept being postponed.

I was fortunate enough to meet up with Mr. Kwok, one of the leaders of the 聯漁龍. He told me that they are one of the first teams to allow women to race in a dragon boat in Hong Kong. This is because superstition once dictated that women were forbidden to touch dragon boats, let alone compete in them. Times have since changed.

I am glad and honored to have the opportunity to capture Mr. Kowk’s whole team in action today (Photos 1, 2 & 9 are shots of the women's team).

The trillion dollar skyline of Hong Kong
I have put together this hyperlapse to share with you two approaches to this priceless skyline of HK. It was originally done in just one hyperlapse mission, but I have made some adjustments to the video edit to pull back the shot and re-approach the city from another angle. This way I can share with you the amazing panoramic view of Hong Kong in the 5 by 4 format. I hope you will like it and share it with your friends who loves HK!!

Anyone can be cool no matter which colour you are. Let’s stimulate our mind with a strong and creative force
Special thanks to for sending me the lumecube light kit for Mavic2pro. Collaboratively, and I have been using the kit to create fun and crazy light painting projects in one of the icon locations the swimming shed in Sai Wan, Hong Kong. Besides the lighting kit, we have been using Sony A7 camera fitted on a tripod to do the whole shoot. The litchi app has also been used to control the drone to do the light painting.
