4 things I guide you through on a shoot so you never feel awkward in front of the camera again…
Most people walk into a photoshoot wondering how it’s all meant to feel. You are not meant to have it figured out. That is my job.
Here are the things I guide you through on every shoot so you can relax and actually enjoy yourself.
1. Where to stand and how to settle in
I never expect you to know what to do the moment you arrive. I show you the light, the angle and a simple starting point so you ease into the session naturally.
2. What to do with your hands, your posture and your gaze
No stiff poses, no forced smiles. I give gentle direction so you feel comfortable and look like yourself, not a version of you performing for the camera.
3. How to interact so the moments feel real
I give small prompts that help you connect with each other instead of thinking about the lens. That is where the natural expressions come from.
4. When to pause, breathe and reset
If someone needs a moment, if the kids need space, if the energy dips, we slow right down. The calm is part of the process, not a disruption.
Most people leave their session saying they felt lighter than when they arrived. That is always the goal.
If you want photos that feel natural, warm and genuinely like you, this is the experience I aim create every single time.
