Lawn: A modest time capsule in Yotsuya, near empty on a Monday morning. A couple of seated salarymen discuss their business quietly at an opposite corner. Their to***co fills the room, reminiscent of a millennial’s childhood in the 80s, where smoke dwells in the air and leaves its scent like an old hotel lobby. We watch as a lonely woman leaves her table and occupy the seat across from her, as if to continue an abstract dialogue.

There is something beautiful about out a moment frozen in time. Once jaded by the social media algorithm model that favoured videos, I was lured away from seeing the power of photography. Like all art form, photography is a craft, something that can be pursued for a lifetime, a malleable medium of expression for every state of mind. I think I can do it for a very long time.

Heartfelt thanks for the successful opening of the exhibition "I Remember You", debuting in Paris. A true honour to be amongst such a renowned and tremendously talented group of artists. My gratitude to and the Apple team for their work in front of and behind the scenes, and especially for the introspective manifesto on nostalgia. Special thanks to Selene Cheung 張晉雅 for the chemistry in making this work a personal one.
