THE INCIDENT: I had a couple photoshoot coming for Dave and Mylyn but my primary Canon Mirrorless camera already reached its shutter limit. It's dead.
Without a secondary camera body, I use my drone instead-typically reserved for high-altitude landscapes-to frame low-angle, intimate portraits against the coastline.
RESULT: The drone's unique framing combined with post-production editing effectively recovered RAW highlights and colors, turning an equipment failure into a successful series of coastal couple portraits.
