We have had such a beautiful, relaxing day swimming in this incredible place! The water is so clear and a gorgeous turquoise colour with the amazing Dubrovnik Old Town as the backdrop.
We spent most of our day here, hopping in and out of the water and having a picnic lunch before swimming over to check out that cave.

Making memories on our last day in Venice šŸ›¶

Our day began with a morning ride in a gondola and it was everything! Our gondola was decorated gorgeously and our gondolier took us down some of the smaller and quieter canals, as well as parts of the Grand Canal.

We drank lots of delicious coffee and spent the afternoon catching the water buses to Murano and Burano to wander around these colourful, picture perfect islands.
I still can’t quite believe that we made 12 year old Malika’s dreams come true 🄰 12 year old me would never have guessed I’d be lucky enough to share this magical experience with the love of my life ā¤ļø

Last year we spent my birthday in the Lake District. I wanted to climb Scafell Pike on the day of my birthday, but we got washed out and our plans had to change. We ended up visiting the Beatrix Potter museum and exploring the magical little world of Peter Rabbit. Before heading home, we decided to go for a stroll into the hills behind the village. We ended up walking way further than we thought and stumbled upon this stunning location. I’ve never seen anywhere in real life that looked so much like a painting. It was surreal. These little surprises are my favourite thing about travel, and always inspire us to see and do more.

This is what looks like to us. It’s a feeling, not a place. It’s the desire to go somewhere new, and see something you’ve never seen before. It doesn’t have to be a dream destination, just somewhere out of your comfort zone. Today marks the 4 year anniversary of when we left our jobs in Australia to begin our travel journey. We’ve never looked back.

I love this photo because this was our second attempt to climb the highest mountain in England. We were severely unprepared and got rained out the first time. Even so, we tried again a few days later. We didn’t have the best gear or training, but we pushed through and made it to the top. I love this photo because it’s a moment from when we were taking a break on the way up. It reminds me that the best experiences happen along the way, not necessarily at the destination. It’s particularly from this day, because the summit of Scafell Pike was surrounded by clouds and we couldn’t see a thing!

I don’t know where we’re going next, but that doesn’t matter. I can’t wait to have that feeling again.

Even if isolating, we are not isolated. The world is still out there and we're all in this together.

This is a compilation of shots my we've taken from our 2019 travels, pre coronavirus. Looking back, there's so much I see that is no longer OK since the pandemic began, but I think it's important to recognise the bond that people share doesn't go away just because of lockdown. Editing the clip of people dancing and holding hands in Catalonia nearly had me in tears. I hope everyone is staying safe and helping each other get through this. Soon enough we'll all be safe to explore outside and come together as one again. Even though it seems like everything has come to a halt, the world is still spinning and the sun is still rising. We'll get through this ā¤ļø

We walked to this delightful little island on foot across a small stone road that’s usually covered by water! On the way back to the mainland we had to wade through the ocean because we stayed a little too long exploring this magical place. It’s like a fairytale! The island is called Saint Michael’s Mount. It is home to a medieval castle and church and has stunning views over Mount’s Bay. The water looks like the Mediterranean! šŸ˜šŸ˜Æ

Check out our video! šŸ‘‡
