January, what a month. I lost my rock, I lost my creator, I lost the man who defined what I would become and what I became. But through all of that I learnt. I learnt what is precious to me, what I can tolerate and what I WON'T tolerate. I learnt I am strong but that I can break. And I found out things that I will keep with me until they are needed from those who are close to me and thought I wasn't paying attention. I ALWAYS PAY ATTENTION

After all, I am a Scorpio. But I have also decided to adopt the characteristic of the fabled Wolverine. And for those who are unsure what that means. Here is a quote.

They (whoever THEY are, and i still haven't found out, but as always i have a knack of doing so) say a picture speaks a thousand words. Well I have 1. FROZEN.

And normally, after a freeze comes a thaw, which often creates a cascade of overflowing water before it settles and gets back to normality. Let's hope I survive the thaw!!!

Reality alert.

If I close a door on something or someone it was MY decision and MY choice. Therefore I accept that it is down to me to make the decision or choice to re-open said closed door and to not expect the something or someone I closed the door on to come knocking.

Conversely

If someone or something closes a door on me, I will accept/respect that choice. But DO NOT EVER expect me to come knocking. Accept the consequences of your OWN decision and choices.

Breaking (but probably not that surprising) news NUMBER 1

Apparently there is a place that exists where you can do whatever you want, say whatever you want and behave however you want with ZERO accountability, responsibility or guilt all whilst blaming someone else when things don't work out how YOU think they should for YOU.

Breaking (but probably not that surprising) news NUMBER 2

In life, some (VERY FEW) will try to help you because that's all they know how to do because THEY want to make things better. If you ignore that help continually then it IS YOUR FAULT for not taking responsibility and accountability, not THEIR fault

Summary

Please can you gather together everyone else that believes in that world and go and live there happily ever after in your unnacountable, non-responsible and non-guilt bubble and leave the precious few who have tried, and continue to try to make life better for everyone to continue to try to help those who want to be helped.

Final thought with a twist on a famous saying.

You can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink. However, if you continue to carry the buckets hoping one day it will drink, firstly you have no free hands to drink yourself and secondly, eventually, the buckets will become to heavy for you to carry and at some point will end up being dropped. Meaning EVERYONE gets nothing. Except of course those in "Breaking (but probably not that surprising) news NUMBER 1" who will blame you for dropping the water they didnt want when it was offered to them. 🤔

A beautiful man, father and grandfather passed away today.

You gave me everything and I tried my best to make you proud and I will spend the rest of days continuing to try because it's all I know.
