A crew of overseas touring riders rolls in on rented Harleys. Big bikes, big vibes, big "how hard can it be" energy. Spoiler: pretty hard, actually - we're holding our breath watching a few of them wobble through the hairpins like the bike is riding them.
To rent or not to rent, that is the question. Our answer: rent something you can actually pick up off the ground yourself, not something that needs its own zip code. You don't need 300+ kg of chrome to enjoy the Stelvio. If you can handle it, great, go have fun. If you can't, congratulations, you've just built an expensive obstacle course.
Can't start or stop on a hill without a small prayer? That's not a personality trait, that's a skill issue. Ask your tour guide before departure, or sign up for a riding course and actually practice it. Do that and you'll be smiling at the top instead of sweating through your jacket. Putting a passenger behind you with that skill level though? That's between you, them, and their insurance.
A dream bike on a dream trip shouldn't turn into a group therapy session by the end. The Stelvio has a talent for exposing exactly what you don't know about riding, and this video is basically a highlight reel.
Option B: get someone else to steer through every single corner for you. All 48 of them. Exactly what this duo ends up doing by the end of the video.
