Change is inevitable - growth is optional. Farewell to Proud Hippie Boy, and welcome, "just" Kristóf Steiner...
I started off Whitecity Boy exactly a decade ago, when moving to Tel Aviv-Jaffa I wanted to discover and showcase the local vibe, creativity, art, gastronomy, and more.
The blog won multiple awards, it gave me tremendous opportunities, and it it allowed me to give opportunities to those I believe in, but as life went by, my focus... changed.
So did my surrounding, and the name of the platform: Whitecity Boy - inspired by the nickname of TLV - turned into Proud Hippie Boy, as my husband, Nimi and I moved to a wee village in Greece.
I blogged about minimalism, sustainable living, LGBTQ rights, and of course vegan food, and once again, in the past four years, this site has given me possibilities I never even dreamed of.
Now it is time to change - again. I am proud, I am sort of a hippie, and I certainly am a boy, even though I actually am a forty years old man, but these definitions, catchphrases and labels are... old.
I am me - simply, Kristóf Steiner. The web magazine I started with Orly Leo Bohrer ten years ago, is now hibernating, as www.kristofandnimi.com becomes my main site to maintain.
I am grateful for those who supported me on this journey - building a little empire back in those days, when blogging, being an "influencer" was so new, the term didn't even exist yet.
The FB page does remain active - this is where I'll be sharing my English language publications and posts, while on Steiner Kristóf page, I'm sharing in Hungarian.
On Nimi & Kristóf's Kitchen, we focus on cooking, on EatOut with Kristóf & Nimi we are guiding you to vegan-friendly eateries and give travel tips, and let's meet outside of Facebook too.
