What a privilege it is to meet such an inspiring group of people. Thanks Indtravel - Wonderful Indonesia for bringing us all together!

The more I travel, the more I've grown to realize the importance of not only learning about the cultures of the countries we visit but to fully embrace them through connection with the very people that make these cultures so great. We started off our Indonesia.Travel journey by spending the morning at Setu Babakan, the Center of Betawi Culture learning about Jakarta's indigenous people and experiencing their passion through dance and art. Authentic travel means connection, not only with locals but with yourself to give your heart a moment to reflect on the rest of the world and to connect with fellow travelers. I'm fortunate to have met some incredible people here with me on this trip and it's refreshing to meet like-minded travels who also value that same connection. Do news stories affect your decision on where to travel? Mynamar has been in the news lately and it made me wonder if this would change your mind about whether to go or not. I went earlier on in the year during more peaceful times, and it was a wonderful experience. Bagan is really as dreamy as it looks.

There's no time to be bored in a world as beautiful as this.

I am always a bit apprehensive about revisiting a favourite travel destination. Would I love it as much? Would the same magic be there? Angkor Wat captured my heart 13 years ago, but much has changed since then and the number of visitors has exploded. Luckily, there are still quiet places to discover and I'm forever grateful to Kampoul Adventure Tour for taking me to this gem of a spot away from the crowds and tour groups.

Some places are as incredible as they look in pictures, if not more so. Cloud 9 is so wonderfully aptly named - a floating bar and restaurant on a gorgeous patch of Fijian reef.
