Never ever thought this year would be this worst. I remember on the 31st of December 2019, I was dreaming so high, that on 2020 would be the best year for my career in photography. But life is unexpected, right? Thats the way life is. Just need to fight more to achieve just enough. Enough to survive. My prayers are for all of us to survive and to be safe on this pandemic. Hopefully it will end soon. Stay safe!

This is still one of the best couple sessions I’ve ever done in my entire journey as a wedding photographer since November 2015. Thank you for letting me to shoot whatever I want. It feels so close. But it isn’t.
—
This time of the year, we are supposed to be in Melbourne. We have cancelled all of our photoshoots in Melbourne and other countries, forcefully, due to the pandemic. Last year, we have booked some return flight tickets to Melbourne for this year. Earlier this year, everything went well. I shot my first destination wedding and couple session in Bangkok. But suddenly it got worst. Everything collapsed.

Last year we also planned to go to Melbourne with my daughter, Athena .aryana, at the end of this year. But we believe it impossible to do so.

Her middle name is Melba. The biggest reason why I chose that name, because it can represent Melbourne. The city that I love so much. The city that changed my life completely.

But yeah, we’ve learned from this, that we need to be patience. Life is just like this. It happens when it happens. Don’t expect too much of it. Just go with the flow. Every little things that we got now, are the most precious things. We should be grateful for whatever we have got.

Hopefully everything will get better soon.

Happy 2nd anniversary, my eternal love !

Aku inget waktu sebelum kenal kamu, hidupku dulu tanpa tujuan. Tanpa arah yg jelas. Itu kenapa aku pilih foto silhouette ini jadi cover foto utama di postingan ini. Sangat cocok untuk mengutarakan hidup aku waktu itu.

Setelah kenal kamu, perlahan lahan semuanya berubah. Berubah ke arah yg jauh lebih baik. Foto slide kedua itu aku ambil waktu diawal kita ngedate. Dating yg sangat sederhana ya.

Hobi utama aku traveling. Terima kasih sudah menjadi traveling buddy aku selama ini. Terima kasih sudah mau ikut jalan kaki bareng sejauh 13-20km per hari utk keliling Tokyo atau Melbourne. Nemenin aku motret di jalan, bantu aku kerja motret. Walaupun sampai kaki kamu gempor dan pegel! I love you!

Kita belajar bareng. Sedih bareng, happy bareng. Diawal pernikahan kita sempet sedih karena blm dikaruniai anak sampai lebih dari setahun lamanya. Tapi kita percaya kalau memang sudah jalannya, bakal dikasi sama Tuhan. Dan akhirnya bener, kita dikasi anak tercantik dan terbaik didunia .aryana. The best gift in my entire life, and you included too. Thank God.

Sekali lagi selamat 2 tahun istriku. Semoga kita langgeng sampe akhir riwayat kita. I love you so much!
