Dreaming of warmer days

Usually I’m so on point with my planning, that our last years expeditions were planned and sorted in December the year before - this year we have only written up one big plan so far, and it’s still tied to lits of moving pieces
And I’ve listed my photography again, aiming to work with lots if creative people again, still organizing my website and driving my technical learning more into DevOps
I’m just relieved that I went head first against this list of tasks and got the surgery done first thing - my eyes are healing well and we are heading out for a hike on the weekend!

Perspective

This year we’ll go on a lot more weekend-getaways.
has been modding up the car and I learned to get comfortable at sub-zero temperatures in my sleeping bag, so we will enjoy the flexibility of being on the road and early at our hikes and adventures here in Switzerland🇨🇭

Anyone is virtuous in times of convenience. But to be a person to look up to, in hard times, this is a virtue.
We have lost many good people, who lead the fight for equality, better, sustainable choices, against discrimination.
But time comes for everyone, it is not sadness to let them finally find rest.
Every single one of us, has lived the priviledge of having access to knowledge. To educate us.
It is our responsibility to not walk the easy way, but the way that leads us forward. Not only today, but for other days to come.
I want to live in a better world.
And better I will make it.

It starts with a feeling

I will never be as free as in my mind, as this is where our hearts are born and ideas flow.
Channeling my inner who goes into the ice so bravely - I will, too
And that is what’ll never cease to amaze me, the human spirit which drives these machines, our bodies to bring us into places which are nothing less than stunning.
