Ramadan, Tradition, & Indonesians : "The Fear & The Hope"
"First, We worried that The local wisdom and the stories and philosophy of their ancestors are no longer applied in their daily lives. It has been buried by the promise of globalization and the politicized media. The country has failed to continue the most important aspects of society, their stories and values. Since our generation is not built on a strong foundation of national identity (Pancasila), they must build their own identity. more inclusive and not welcoming strangers, even neighbors. That was one side of the story. day by day we tried different approaches, more proactive, try to smile. Finally they more comfortable with us."
The process teach us (team) that openness and acceptance starts with a simple act of friendliness, sincerity and humility.
