Nggak sengaja nemu pas scrolling tiktok dan kebetulan kemarin ada urusan di daerah timur jadi mampir deh..

Aku nyoba 3 menu:
1. Mie Sapi Hanoi 💰29K
ini my favv sih (definitely will come back later for this)...mie nya kecil-kecil, kuahnya light tapi very aromatic, dagingnya empuk dan juicy

2. Mie Bamera 💰14K
not that special (just like the other mie goreng pedas kekinian), kemarin pesan level pedas sedang tapi udah lumayan bikin mbeler 🤣

3. Chicken Katsu 💰11K
tetep crunchy walaupun udah didiemin agak lama, not oily dan yang menurutku dagingnnya lumayan tebel untuk harga segitu

Untuk tempatnya cozy dan aesthetic cuma agak terbatas space nya, jadi better jangan dateng pas jam lunch/dinner. Walaupun no ac tempatnya lumayan dingin (mungkin juga karena kemarin udah sore, mengingat surabaya mataharinya ada 9 😆).

this one is my 2nd fav from after Crispy Palabok. but next time if I get the chance to re-visit, maybe I should ask them to separate the calamansi bcs it added a quite strong sour flavor.

our last lunch in Manila..comfort food at its finest 🥰.

goto is a filipino porridge that use beef tripes as one of its main ingredients (but we take them out from ours because we don't like it 🤣).

the serving is generous, the beef tendon melts in your mouth and the small bites chicharon brings a bit savoury flavor.

6th day breakfast (or maybe brunch).
actually we didn't plan to eat here, but because it was near the MRT station we decided to stop by.

in frame:
2-3: Chicken Inasal + Palabok (I think Palabok will be one of my favorite food here)
4: Pork BBQ + Java Rice and Peanut Sauce (finally we found a sweet sauce here)
5: Pork Sisig (it has chicharon as the topping, this one is also delicious and affordable)
6: Chicken Empanadas (just like Indonesian Pastel but more crispy and only filled with chicken)

Dinner tonight at Inasal Eats Co.
Inasal means char-grilled (said google). We ordered Pork Liempo (porkbelly), and Pork BBQ. If you can't eat pork, they also have beef, chicken, and squid.

I spent P165 for the Pork Liempo Solo Rice (or you can choose the Unli Rice for P185 only)

Btw the broth is from the Kansi. Kansi is a beef soup made from beef shank and bone marrow (said google again LOL). It's a combination of salty, sour, and a bit vinegary flavour. The red sauce in the last slide is Chicken Oil, I pour it to my rice to add some savoury flavor.

There're some photos from yesterday but I forgot to capture the 🤣, maybe I'll just share it in the story later.
So, we joined a private tour today and here's what we got for lunch (we asked for a crab/lobster but already sold out at the market 😭).

38K udah dapet nasi+ikan goreng+sup ikan (bisa pilih mau kepala/badan). Kemarin beli 2 porsi buat share bertiga jadi jatuhnya lebih murah lagi.

Kuah supnya seger, ikannya juga kerasa fresh, crunchy, dan nggak amis. Sambelnya nagihhh walaupun pedes banget buatku. Dan tetep kerasa banyak banget sih porsinya walaupun buat bagi bertiga, kami sampe kenyang bodo 🤣🤣.

Another plus point..tempatnya luas dan nggak terlalu ngantri jadi cocok buat family atau rombongan.
