One of my favourite photographs are rarely the perfectly posed ones.
They're the ones that happen in between.
When someone gets distracted.
When they stop wondering what to do with their hands.
When they forget about the camera for a second.
When they simply exist.
As photographers, we spend so much time talking about posing, lighting and technique.
But sometimes the real magic happens when all of that fades into the background.
When a photograph stops being about how someone looks...
and starts being about who they are.
Those are usually the images people come back to years later.
Not because they were perfect.
But because they felt real.
