Not every love story begins in a church... some begin beneath the whisper of the trees. 🌿🤍

Surrounded by ancient woodland, tall grasses dancing in the breeze, and the peaceful beauty of the Druid Temple near Castlerea, Ils and Karl chose a wedding that was as unique as their love story.

Travelling all the way from Belgium to Ireland, they exchanged their vows in a place where nature became their cathedral and birdsong their wedding music.

There was something truly magical about this ceremony. No grand venue, no towering walls—just two people, deeply in love, standing hand in hand beneath the open sky, promising each other forever.

Days like these remind us that the perfect wedding isn't about where you say "I do." It's about creating a moment that feels completely, beautifully yours.

Some weddings stay with you forever.

Sarah & Eddie's wedding was unlike anything we had photographed before. It was our first time capturing a wedding in the Orthodox tradition, and from the moment we stepped inside the church, we knew we were witnessing something truly extraordinary.

Surrounded by beautiful icons and centuries-old traditions, every part of the ceremony carried a deep meaning. One moment, in particular, took our breath away—the Crowning Ceremony.

The priest gently placed crowns upon the bride's and groom's heads, symbolising that they were becoming the king and queen of their own family, united not only in love but also in faith, commitment, and sacrifice. It was one of the most beautiful and moving wedding traditions we have ever witnessed.

Seeing Sarah and Eddie standing together beneath those crowns, surrounded by candlelight and sacred artwork, was simply unforgettable. Every photograph from that moment tells a story that words can hardly describe.

It was an honour to document such a meaningful celebration and to experience a tradition that was completely new to us.

During our recent session at the Botanical Garden, I simply couldn't resist capturing a few of the beautiful little moments surrounding us. From delicate flowers in full bloom to busy bees at work and curious squirrels playing nearby, nature was putting on its own incredible show.

Before Jade and Jamie became husband and wife, they were already Mum and Dad.

On the morning of their wedding, there was no rushing to get themselves ready first. Instead, their focus was on the three little people who mean the world to them.

Buttoning tiny outfits. Straightening little dresses. Fixing a bow tie. Wiping little faces. Sharing smiles, cuddles, and those quiet moments that only a family can truly understand.

Only after their two beautiful daughters and little son were ready did Jade and Jamie begin preparing for their own "I do."

It was such a gentle reminder of what this day was really about. This wasn't just the beginning of a marriage—it was the celebration of a family that had already been built with so much love.

Watching them care for their children before thinking of themselves was one of the most touching parts of the entire day. Those simple, everyday gestures became some of the most meaningful photographs we captured.

Years from now, these images won't just remind them of how they looked on their wedding day. They'll remind their children how deeply they were loved from the very beginning.
