Yesterday I had an epiphany - as I was changing a desktop background on our family laptop I realised just how much I miss landscape photography and just how much love and appreciation goes into this type of photography.. It’s been always my main source of inspiration and the main drive behind me doing photography - I have SO many pictures I haven’t shared with anyone yet too, because I was just so busy (and a little unorganised)...

It’s funny however how without any hesitation I picked up my camera this morning as soon as I saw an amazing view out of my window - the passion in me is alive and well and I am glad to be in a position to be sharing with you my love for our visual aspect of life again and again…

One thing I have to say is that social media viewed via smartphones (almost) ruined landscape photographers careers. It nearly did that to me too - I found myself trying to "fit in" and produce more vertical images instead of landscape just so they are displayed better when viewed on the phone... NO! I just won't bow to this - landscape is where it's at for most of my work - you just wouldn't be printing and hanging this in a vertical version in your living room. You wouldn't. You view images like that in landscape and that's that! There's place for vertical and I have plenty of that too, but landscape just have that most natural viewing experience. It's beautiful. It's natural. It's art.
