Emotions
A wedding day is all about emotion, I love capturing the ‘real moment’ like the first image on this carousel, the bride Áimee embracing her soon to be husband Seàn at the top of the aisle, proud dad standing aside, heart full of pride after walking his ‘baby girl’ to the man of her dreams, mother of the groom looks on with a tear in her eye, so happy for her ‘little boy’ that he has found his soulmate. I certainly want to capture the dramatic images either the glorious light and backgrounds , but an image like the first on this carousel will be of far more meaning to Áimee and Seán in 10 years time when they look back on their wedding images because they will remember ‘ how they felt’ at that specific moment and that created the emotional attachment to the moment. Likewise ‘other moments’ such as a simple look between each other, a laugh, a tear, a guest frecking out on the dance floor create a wonderful emotional connection to your ‘Special Day’. Those stories are the most important to tell on a wedding day. A few images from Áimee & Seán’s wedding on 8th May to illustrate this point.
