Just a few hours into the drive from Dublin toward the wild beauty of Ireland’s west coast, we made a stop at Clonmacnoise Monastery — and I’m so glad we did. 🛣️✨

Perched along the River Shannon, the ruins feel like stepping straight into Ireland’s ancient soul. Weathered stone towers, Celtic crosses, and wide open skies… it’s one of those places where time slows down and history feels close enough to touch.

If you’re road-tripping across Ireland, don’t rush past this spot. Wander the grounds, breathe in the quiet, and let the stories of centuries settle in around you. ☘️💚

✨ Farraniaragh Viewpoint, County Kerry ✨🍀
One of those places that instantly makes you stop, breathe, and just take it all in. Perched along the Ring of Kerry, Farraniaragh overlooks sweeping cliffs, wild Atlantic blues, and layers of mountains that seem to fade into forever.

There’s something magical about how quiet it gets up here—just wind, waves, and views that remind you why Ireland is pure enchantment. 🌿🌊🇮🇪

If you’re road-tripping the Iveragh Peninsula, don’t rush this stop. Park the car, wander a bit, and let the landscape do the rest.

📍Cahergal Stone Fort, Ring of Kerry ✨🇮🇪
Stepping into Cahergal feels like stepping back a thousand years. This beautifully restored stone ring fort—built entirely without mortar—sits quietly on the landscape, holding centuries of stories in its curved walls. 🏰💚🍀

Standing at the top, you can see the rolling fields, the Atlantic breeze moving through the grass, and the echoes of the early medieval world that once thrived here. It’s peaceful, ancient, and absolutely mesmerizing.

If you love hidden gems, Irish history, or dramatic landscapes, add this one to your list. 🌿🛡️

There are places that feel like they’re pulled straight out of a storybook… and Sneem Bridge is one of them. 🌿🌊

Nestled along the iconic Ring of Kerry🍀, this charming stone bridge crosses the gently rushing Sneem River, surrounded by colorful village houses and endless green hills. 💚

📍 Ruins of St. Paul’s, Macau 🇲🇴. UNESCO World Heritage Site .

Standing tall since the 17th century, the Ruins of St. Paul’s are more than just a façade — They are among the city’s most famous landmarks — a symbol of its colonial past and unique blend of Portuguese and Chinese cultures.

Once part of St. Paul’s College and the Church of Mater Dei.

🔥 Destruction by Fire
• The complex suffered several fires during its history.
• The final and most devastating fire occurred in 1835, during a typhoon, which destroyed almost the entire church.
• Only the granite façade, staircase, and a few sections of the foundation remained — these are what we now call the Ruins of St. Paul’s.

✨ Walk up the grand stone steps, admire the intricate carvings, and feel the stories etched into every stone. From colonial past to modern Macau, it’s a journey through centuries in a single view.

📸 Tip: Visit early morning or just before sunset for the best light and fewer crowds.
