Film… why would you want to add this unpredictable medium to your wedding photography?
Well… perhaps exactly because it is unpredictable.
You can do everything right and still end up with a light leak. A little blur. A strange colour shift. Something that technically could be called a mistake.
But somehow, on film, those little mistakes become part of the magic. A necessary glitch in the story.
Film has grain, texture, softness and its own interpretation of colour and light. You don’t see the result immediately. You have to trust the process, wait… and sometimes be completely surprised by what comes back.
And I LOVE that.
There is something beautifully human about a medium that leaves room for accident and imperfection. And sometimes those unexpected frames are the ones that feel the most alive.
