Photo studio is back for Kaizo 2024!

We're only 1 day away from Gig For Jack! Proceeds from ticket sales will be going straight to Cork Samaritans, and to boost the fundraising efforts that little bit more, I'll be selling prints of Jack on the night too. This will always be my favourite photo, and I'm honoured it was used as inspiration for the gig poster. Jack was happiest when playing music with his friends, and this is how I like to remember him best. Prints are super limited edition, and you can get one for a donation of €10 off me in Cyprus Avenue tomorrow night. Every cent of it will go directly to Samaritans Cork and the amazing work they do!

Here's some info on our resident photographer, Aoife James!

Aoife James (she/her) is a music and event photographer who made her start on the Irish gig scene at 14 and has spent the last decade building her reputation nationwide. Since joining team Kaizo a few years ago, she's become a recognisable photographer to Irish cosplayers as well. Her resume includes executive positions with Celebs Entertainment and the Board of Irish College Societies, the role of VIP photographer with the Experience Japan festival, affiliate status with Neewer, and features in the Irish Arts Review New Generation Gallery. Oh, and she's a fierce weeb too. That bit's important (shoutout to MTU Anime & Manga Society).
Find Aoife across the weekend in her yellow staff t-shirt and excessive eyeliner. She'll be floating around all aspects of the con, and will also be running our photo studio where attendees can get their own professional cosplay shots for an affordable price! For this you can find her in Boole 6 on Saturday from 6-8pm. Whenever you find her with the camera in hand across the weekend she'll be happy to snap a pic for you!
