In the darkened rain
Sometimes inspiration hits when you don't expect it like in this case when you are sitting on the top decker of a double decker and it is pouring outside. Nothing like a bit of rain drenched glass to make the world look like a watercoloured painting.
A moody one at that befitting of some story set in Gotham.
For the soaked passengers
Suffice to say based off of the mystifying sheen of raindrops here that passengers on this and other vehicles were very likely soaked. It's a safe assumption to think that the days of intense heat are slowly fading into obscurity and the reality of autumnal atmosphere is setting itself up to rule over the land. Here's hoping it's not disastrous.
Waiting for it to all go green
They say that time is relative and no such better example of that is when you are sitting around waiting for it to all go green. It's like as if the laws of physics and the universe bend as that event horizon makes its way to our collective reality skewering our relationship with temporal clarity. But they also say that patience is a virtue.
The mercy of obscurity
One can find a modicum of peace when it comes to not knowing all the variables. To worry would be a mistake yet caution shouldn't be thrown away and with that any sort of apprehension is dissolved as the sense of things being fully determined eases. There's a serenity there that only obscurity offers, it's calming.
