Ghost ships in the mud. ⚓️
These old utility barges have been sitting in the shallows of Cork Harbour for decades. Seeing them from a top-down aerial perspective completely changes the narrative—it looks less like an industrial graveyard and more like an abstract painting.

Northern Gannets 🪽mate for life! Every spring they return to the Saltee Islands to find their partner on the exact same cliff.
Their reunion is a beautiful step-by-step ritual. It begins with the gaze for recognition, followed by the search for fresh green grass 🌱to rebuild their 🪺. Than they cross their bills to say “it’s you, I remember you ❤️” before a magnificent display of wings seals their bond for another season 🐣. Zooming out the sheer scale of the colony clinging to the vertical cliffs is breathtaking. 🏞️🌊.
