Rain Soaked Periwinkle 🪻

I took this picture on my walk to work, it reminded me of home as often times periwinkles grew next to my garden wall.

It’s been a while since I took some photos for my own Instagram to be honest. Been busy working and taking pictures for the social media pages I’m helping run. Although often times I find myself realising by the end of the event or meeting I’ve barely taken any photos because I’m too conscious about not disturbing other people 😅

It’s something I’ll work on, sheet anything and everything I guess… I’ve still a long way to go, to understanding my camera and the settings but the more I practice the more I’ll learn.

Cheeky chappy 🧸

I photographed this little fella shortly after he’d got some injections. His lovely mum had stopped by our charity stall to learn about stem cell donation and to sign up to the register.

So whilst mum was busy we introduced him to our colleague Darcy Bear who was more than happy to be free entertainment.

These are the first sets of portrait photos which turned out halfway decent, it’s something I still have to learn and understand. Cameras aren’t as simple as point and shoot 😅

The metal man.

This is a navigational marker located near ards friary, Donegal.

Its purpose?

It acts as a safe passage guiding ships into the harbour, you keep the marker to your left. (Atleast I think I asked my uncle about its purpose this summer)
